Andrew has worked in a variety of national, designated and specialist museums since 1985 and undertakes a wide range of heritage consultancy work.

Andrew is fully conversant in all areas of museum and gallery work. This has been gained through theoretical training as well as through wide practical experience to guarantee success in any project or task undertaken. He can bring a vast amount of knowledge of different ways of tackling a project to find the best solution to ensure success.

He is very much a practical Curator and enjoys working on any project whether it be large or small. In particular, he enjoys all aspects of collection management work and finding ways that ths important work can be utilised through new media such as websites to market a museum and its collections. His work translates a well balanced relationship between a perfect technical know-how and attention to detail which is so important in any museum-related project.

Andrew has wide experience in dealing with a diverse range of collections such as social history, maritime, textiles, photographic and ceramics.

Andrew's other interests include collecting contemporary craft ceramics, photography and walking. He is also a keen theatre goer and is very interested in theatre history.
