Superb footage showing the Waverley arriving at London Tower Pier for the first time on 28 April 1978.
This rare film was shot by Iain McCorkingdale. It shows Waverley arriving at the pier, VIP guests being greeted by Douglas McGowan and Terry Sylvester, scenes on the deck and Waverley's departure towards Greenwich with Tower Bridge opening for her.
